About Our Program
We are able to accommodate all experience levels, and our wranglers will match you with the perfect horse for the week. With a herd of 70 horses, we have the perfect steed for you. We offer trail rides, lessons, a mini-cattle drive, team penning, and more! Our barn manager will meet with you and discuss your goals for the week, and we’ll get you where you want to be! Whatever you want, we’ll make it happen. Our motto is to never say “No,” after all!
We are located at 8,000 feet, so our rides increase in technical difficulty and length as the week progresses. Our wranglers will guide you to the very best views the San Juans have to offer! In addition to multiple 1-2 hour rides a day, we offer half day and all-day rides. We also accommodate special requests and family rides every day.
Experienced? No problem. We will match you with a suitable horse, and take you out on more challenging rides with other experienced riders. Our schedule is very flexible, and our wranglers are able to accommodate most requests.
Beginner? Perfect. We’ll help you build your confidence, whether that means short rides or riding lessons in our arena. We’ll pick our most steady horse, who will keep you safe while you have fun exploring all the southwest has to offer.

After being assigned a horse at the beginning of the week, you’ll have a chance to improve your riding skills every day. Each ride gets progressively longer until you’re given the option to go on an all-day or half-day ride each Thursday. On Wednesday, kids participate in a rodeo, which becomes a skills day during adult weeks later in the year. Keeping safety as our primary concern, we give new and more experienced riders opportunities to challenge themselves.
